Overview

The Martiniere Gold Project is located about 600 kilometres northwest of Montreal, Quebec and approximately 20 kilometres west of Balmoral's Fenelon project along the Detour-Sunday Lake Deformation Zone. Balmoral Resources purchased an option to purchase a 100% interest in the Martiniere Project in November 2010 and is the operator of the Martiniere Project.

The Martiniere project hosts three known zones of gold mineralization, all discovered by geophysics and drilling through extensive glacial cover. The Martiniere West Zone ("MWZ") consists of three sub-parallel gold mineralized shear-vein horizons which have been traced for up to 480 metres along strike and to a maximum vertical depth of only 130 vertical metres. All three horizons remain open in all directions. Highlights from drilling of the MWZ include intercepts of 5.91 g/t gold over 6.45 metres, 7.16 g/t over 3.00 metres and 5.57 g/t gold over 3.09 metres.

The Martiniere Central Zone ("MCZ") is a complex zone consisting of numerous vein and vein-breccia intercepts located 420 metres along strike to the northeast from the MWZ. Drilling in the MCZ area has traced high-grade gold mineralization to a vertical depth of 150 metres below which it remains open. Very little drilling has been conducted along strike of the MCZ discovery and the zone remains open in all directions.

The last drill program conducted on the Martiniere project in early 2007 intersected a new style of mineralization at Martiniere. Located 280 metres east of any previous drilling along strike of the MWZ and MCZ hole MD07-20 intersected a broad zone of gold mineralization which returned 2.30 g/t gold over 28.40 metres. Historic drill hole MD87-02 located 180 metres NE and in the hanging wall to MD07-20 returned anomalous gold mineralization over a width of 85 metres. Both holes flank the western edge of a sizeable I.P. anomaly which is open to the east and undrilled. Given the bulk tonnage potential of the Martiniere East Zone target it is a priority exploration target.

The majority of the Martiniere Project remains underexplored with very limited drilling to date outside the main discovery area.
