Balmoral Enhances Technical, Corporate Teams

 Vancouver, British Columbia -- Balmoral Resources Ltd. ("Balmoral" or the "Company") (TSXV:BAR) announced today that Mr. Richard Mann has agreed to join the Company as Manager, Exploration. Mr. Mann joins Balmoral from Barrick Gold Corporation, where he was most recently senior geologist in charge of exploration on and around the world-class Porgera gold deposit in Papua New Guinea. Prior to working at Porgera, Mr. Mann was a key component of Barrick Gold's Canadian project development and exploration team for five years and held exploration positions in Canada with Cominco Ltd. and the Hope Bay/Miramar joint venture. Mr. Mann will assume responsibility for day to day management of Balmoral's exploration programs in Quebec and Ontario and join the Company's project evaluations team.

"Richard is an experienced gold geologist with global exploration experience and strong project management and development skills," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral. "We are very excited to have him leading our technical team and aiding us in evaluating new opportunities for growth in a highly competitive gold environment."

New Corporate and Technical Advisors

The Company also announced that Mr. Robert Duess, Mr. Dan MacInnis, Mr. Wayne O'Connor and Mr. Kenneth Strong have entered into agreements to provide advisory services to the Company. Mr. Robert Duess is a professional geologist and was previously Canadian project manager for West Timmins Mining Inc. prior to its acquisition by Lake Shore Gold in the fall of 2009 in an all share deal valued at $424 million. In his role with West Timmins Mining, and predecessor Band-Ore Resources Inc., Mr. Duess was responsible for the discovery of the Golden River Trend and the acquisition of the Thunder Creek Property which now hosts the high-grade Thunder Creek gold deposit in Timmins, Ontario. Mr. Duess is a 25 year veteran of the Abitibi gold province and will provide technical advisory services to the Company.

Mr. Dan MacInnis is currently the President and CEO of MAG Silver and has over thirty years experience in worldwide mineral exploration. He has managed and directed multi-million dollar exploration programs for Noranda Exploration, Battle Mountain Gold/Hemlo Gold, and Sargold Resources and was a key technical advisor to West Timmins Mining Inc. Mr. MacInnis has extensive global experience in property acquisitions and joint venture negotiations and operation. A significant number of mineral discoveries have been made under the guidance of Mr. MacInnis including gold and base metal deposits in the US, Canada and Mexico. Mr. MacInnis will provide technical advisory services to the Company.

Mr. Wayne O'Connor was previously Chairman of West Timmins Mining Inc. and President and CEO of its predecessor, Band-Ore Resources Inc. He is currently a director of Excellon Resources Inc. Mr. O'Connor is a veteran Toronto-based mining financier who, along with Mr. Duess and the current management of Balmoral, assembled the West Timmins land package acquired by Lake Shore Gold. Mr. O'Connor will provide corporate and M&A advisory services to the Company.

Mr. Strong serves as President of Technology Development Corporation and Chairman of Environmental Capital Corporation which are engaged in investment in and development of technology based businesses. Since 2005, Mr. Strong has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of S3 Holdings, Inc. of Ottawa, Canada. S3 Holdings was created to develop, primarily through its affiliate, Cosmos International Inc., business opportunities and provide strategic services to Chinese and international companies in the technology, mining and metals, health care, real estate, transportation, and energy sectors. Earlier in his career, Mr. Strong served for three years as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Canada. Mr. Strong will provide corporate advisory services to the Company focused primarily on business development and M&A opportunities.

Revised Escrow Provisions

The Company advises that, as a consequence of the Company's reactivation as a Tier 1 issuer on the TSX Venture Exchange, the 4,500,000 shares held in escrow are now subject to the following revised release schedule:

November 25, 2010 1,125,000 shares to be released
May 25, 2011 1,125,000 shares to be released
November 25, 2011 1,125,000 shares to be released
May 25, 2012 1,125,000 shares to be released
